  • Supervise and coordinate the IDEA Lab Tech Team Internship, a paid internship program for students at e3 Civic High that teaches multimedia skills and prepares teens for future careers.
  • Lead and coordinate the IDEA Lab, a California State Library LSTA-funded multimedia lab for teens to prepare them with 21st century career-readiness skills and allows them to explore the arts and technology. Write grant proposals to ensure future success of IDEA Lab.

  • Launched and planned a new cultural and educational speaker series, Artful Conversations, which brought professionals from San Diego’s art community to the library.
  • Initiated and restored partnerships with Balboa Park museums—as a result of a partnership with The San Diego Museum of Art, a circulating museum pass was developed to give patrons two weeks of free museum admission
  • Liaison for the Society for American Baseball Research
  • Selected and researched adult graphic novels for all 36 locations of SDPL
  • Weeded select parts of the art, music, & recreation collection
